Stratford-upon-Avon

I have been to the town of Stratford-upon-Avon with my new friends the Ashcrofts. It is just south of Birmingham in the county of Warwickshire.

Birthplace of William Shakespeare

 Stratford-upon-Avon is the birthplace of a very famous writer called William Shakespeare. I knocked but I don't think he was in!
 
This is the actual house that Shakespeare was born in. People come from all over the world to visit.

William Shakespeare

 This is a picture of William Shakespeare. He was born on the 23rd April 1564 and died in 1616.

 

Here I am half way up a tree trying to get a better view of the Globe Theatre. The theatre is used to perform some of the plays of William Shakespeare. There is a copy of the original Globe theatre in London.
