Communication

Here at St Thomas' we have opted to make communication between Parents/Carers and School as easy as it can be.

To keep the emails GDPR compliant we are sending the emails to individual parents/carers without the access of seeing what others are doing in that class. The emails will allow teachers to share work, as well as receive work from parents/carers. The relevant information should have been already passed out to each pupil. However, if the information is no longer available then you can find it below.

You can get in contact with the class email. Each class email follows the same naming template:

class number followed by @leighsaintthomas.wigan.sch.uk.

An example of this would be: Class10@leighsaintthomas.wigan.sch.uk.

Additionally you can communicate with your teachers through class dojo.  If you require a link to your teachers class dojo, contact them through the class email to allow them to set you up a link.

Pupils should've received their individual log on details for each of the sites we pay for here at St Thomas'. Below are links to all of the websites that pupils can use.
If a pupils details are lost, feel free to contact teachers through the provided communication methods. They have log in details on hand.

There are other resources online with lesson plans to give you ideas on what to do at home.

These websites should give you access to lots of different lesson plans and other unique activities to carry out at home.

Additionally something we should all focus on in this trying time is mental health.

Physical activity is one of the best ways to clear a stressed mind. However, there are other resources available to do with mindfulness and ways to cope with stress.

Below is a link to our Mental Health Page that covers information to do with Breathing Techniques, Positive affirmations and a Well being toolbox. As well as links to our Mental Health YouTube Channel where we will be posting videos to help with home learning.
